This is another of Barbara's wonderful designs incorporating a variety of gems. The top cabochon is peridot from the San Carlos Apache Nation in Arizona. The second is a collage of stones using purple chalcedony, carnelian, peridot and cherry fire opal by Henry Hunt.. The third and bottom stone is Burmese Jade in a warm brown color. Nice rock collection, B! The pendant is 14k gold with 24k bezels and is 2 1/2 inches tall. The chain is a 14k medium wheat and may be omitted for a saving of three hundred dollars.Ken was taught at GIA to say peridot with a silent "t". It is hard for him to remember because the Apache town where the gem is mined is called Peridot, with a pronounced "t"!
